•  New recreation classes offered in the fall include:

                       •  YogiPiology:  A unique fusion class of yoga plus Pilates with the focus on mind-body-soul wellness
                          to aid in strength, balance, cardio, and coordination.
                       •  Intermediate Hip-Hop:  This four-week class focuses on using Spanish daily and is offered to adults
                          and children.  Participants will learn and practice colors, days of the week, ABC's, months and
                          more!
                       •  Youth Modeling Class:  This four-week class is for students ages 5-12. The goal is to teach youth
                          confidence-building, runway modeling techniques, and how to use social skills, etiquette, and
                          more. At the end of the course, participants will model what they have learned in a fashion show.

                   •  Recreation Contract Classes were successful during November  with  residents registered for
                       YogiPiology,  salsa, and a variety of martial arts, guitar and bass classes.  New courses starting in
                       November included belly dancing, Incredible Sports, Singing and Musical Pattern Performance,
                       Amazing Martial Arts, and much more!


                   •  The Time for Tots fall session began in September. Daily activities include manipulative centers, circle
                       time, crafts, educational worksheets, snack time, outdoor play and other activities.  Students were
                       welcomed back with a sensory fair which enabled the tots to experience the five senses through the
                       use  of different  objects  and activities. This fair taught them a better understanding of sensory
                       integration and helped them develop their senses. The program offered bi-weekly themes which began
                       with a friendship and apple theme. Teachers were able to use these themes and play activities with
                       which the children learned in a different, creative and fun way.


                   •  Time for Tots was filled with exciting Halloween activities this October.  The tots started the month by
                       sharing their favorite kinds of foods using magazine and newspaper cutouts. Teachers transformed
                       their classrooms into a zoo, which enabled the students to use their imaginations and have fun.  The
                       participants  worked  daily on themed-based crafts,  worksheets,
                       games, and  educational  centers  as  well  as participated in a
                       Halloween potluck. To end the month, the participants celebrated
                       Halloween by participating in the Time for Tots Fall Festival. The
                       festival included fun games, crafts, prizes, face painting, a pumpkin
                       patch, and bouncers


                   •  Time for Tots started the month with a crazy hair day, a nature walk
                       all around their school sites, and a Thanksgiving potluck with friends and teachers. During their circle
                       time activities, the participants shared their favorite books with the class. The entire month was filled
                       with daily fall-themed activities including crafts, worksheets, games, and educational centers.



                   •  The Valley Kids and Teen Camps will be held at March Field Park Community Center and March Annex,
                       which is the new location for teens ages 12-14 years. The program will run November 21st through
                       January 6th. The participants will enjoy in fun-filled environment a variety of fall- and winter-themed
                       art projects, games, sports, dance, and other supervised activities. Additionally, the campers will have
                       the opportunity to enjoy activities such as pajama day, holiday movies, and edible crafts.
