Senior Community Center

The Senior Community Center held 16 events during August including weekly church services, homeowners’
association meetings, women’s fellowship meetings and a Quinceanera.
The Senior Community Center held 14 events during September including weekly church services,
homeowners’ association meeting, women’s fellowship meetings, two wedding receptions, and a
Quinceanera.
The Senior Community Center held 18 events during October including weekly church services, homeowners’
association meeting, women’s fellowship meetings, the Morning Optimist Club’s QuarterMania event, one
wedding reception, a Quinceanera, and an adult birthday party.
TownGate Community Center

The TownGate Community Center held 19 events during August including weekly church services, youth
dance, two adult birthday parties, two family reunions, a first birthday party, and an adult prom.
The TownGate Community Center held 17 events during September including weekly church services, two
child birthday parties, two weddings, a church luncheon, a retirement party, and a Riverside County Health
community meeting.
The TownGate Community Center held 17 events during October including weekly church services, Moreno

Valley High School’s 50 Class Reunion, a wedding reception, a women’s conference, Riverside County Public
Health meeting, Mentor Network staff training, and a baptism.
Cottonwood Golf Center

The Cottonwood Golf Center Banquet Room held 18 events during August including weekly church services,
MVUSD staff training, two baby showers, a baptism, and a first birthday party. Cottonwood Golf Center
Meeting Room held 9 events including regular church services, teen camp, and a baby shower.

The Cottonwood Golf Center Banquet Room held 16 events during September including weekly church
services, a baby shower, a fashion show, two weddings receptions, one adult birthday party, and one Sweet
16. Cottonwood Golf Center Meeting Room held 10 events including regular church services, sports meeting,
and a homeowners’ association meeting.

The Cottonwood Golf Center Banquet Room held 17 events during October including weekly church services,
an anniversary party, a wedding reception, one adult birthday party, and a family party. The Cottonwood
Golf Center Meeting Room held 10 church services.

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Case of the Month

On July 12, 2016, the Chase Bank, located at 14425
Moreno Beach Drive, was robbed. A few days later, a bank
robbery occurred at the U.S. Bank, located at 25900 Iris
Avenue. On July 20, 2016, a third armed robbery was
reported at the Little Caesar’s Pizza on Perris Blvd. These
robberies were committed by the same suspect. Soon
after the Little Caesar’s Pizza robbery, the same suspect
robbed two people at 24853 Alessandro Boulevard. The
cameras from the business were able to record the license
plate of the vehicle used in the robbery.
