issued, and eight field sobriety tests were conducted.

The MVPD Traffic Team accumulated the following statistics in August:

The MVPD Traffic Team responded to the following traffic collisions:

Injury hit and run collisions: 4

Special Enforcement Team

This multi-focus team currently consists of the MVPD Gang Team, Narcotic Enforcement Team, Problem
Oriented Policing Team, and Burglary and Robbery Suppression Team. The following is a list of enforcement
activities the Special Enforcement Team is currently involved with:

During the month of August, the Special Enforcement Team served seven search warrants, made 36 felony
arrests and 25 misdemeanor arrests, seized 4.46 pounds of methamphetamine, 288.03 pounds of marijuana,
1 gram of heroin, 10 firearms and recovered 2 stolen vehicles.

On August 5, 2016, the MVPD Narcotic Team conducted surveillance at a residence on Delphinium in response
to a citizen complaint about narcotic sales. A vehicle was stopped leaving the residence and deputies located
over 17 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle. A further search of the vehicle revealed items used for a marijuana
extraction lab. The driver was arrested and booked into jail.

Investigations Bureau
The Investigations Bureau currently consists of twelve investigators, with each investigator handling
approximately fifteen different investigations. These investigations consist of theft, credit card and identity
fraud, elder and child abuse, and sexual assaults.
