location and finishing paving of the new street. The next items of work will be the installation of the traffic
signal at Heacock Street/Reche Vista Drive intersection and traffic striping.
The construction is anticipated to be completed in January 2017 (weather permitting).
Krameria Avenue Resurfacing from Perris Boulevard to Kitching Street
Hillcrest Contracting completed a pavement grind and overlay on Krameria Avenue in July/August 2016. In
addition to placing new rubberized asphalt, Continental-style high visibility crosswalks were installed at the
intersections of Krameria Avenue/Saddlebrook Lane and Krameria Avenue/Kitching Street and bike lanes were
striped within the project limits. Surplus Total Road Improvement Program (TRIP) funds were available on
short notice and were used to resurface this top-priority street. The project was completed on time prior to
the start of school.
