               Vandalism and Graffiti

               Parks Maintenance staff spent 14 hours abating vandalism and graffiti at 15 sites. Through August (calendar
               year 2016) 1,148 hours (144 work days) were required to abate/repair damage to park property due to
               vandalism and graffiti.

               Parks Maintenance staff spent 25 hours abating vandalism and graffiti at 15 sites. Through September
               (calendar year 2016), 1,184 hours (148 work days) were required to abate/repair damage to park property.
               Parks Maintenance staff spent 65 hours abating vandalism and graffiti at 15 sites. Through October (calendar
               year 2016), 1,249 hours (156 work days) were required to abate/repair damage to park property.

                Park Ranger Statistics
               In August, Park Rangers patrolled 1,498 areas, had 6,207 public contacts, and issued 1,022 citations such as
               curfew, vandalism, parking and alcohol.  Through August (calendar year 2016), Park Rangers patrolled 12,816
               areas, had 38,786 public contacts, and issued 3,315 citations
               In September, Park Rangers patrolled 1,678 areas, had 8,214 public contacts, and issued 556 citations such as
               curfew, vandalism, parking, and alcohol.  Through September (calendar year 2016), Park Rangers patrolled
               12,996 areas, had 40,793 public contacts, and issued 2,927 citations
               In October, Park Rangers patrolled 1,558 areas, had 6,276 public contacts, and issued 351 citations such as
               curfew, vandalism, parking, and alcohol.  Through October (calendar year 2016), Park Rangers patrolled
               14,554 areas, had 47,069 public contacts, and issued 3,278 citations.
               Court Referral Workers

               In August, Court referrals worked 1,122 hours (140 work days). Through August (calendar year 2016), court
               referrals worked 7,534 hours (941 work days).
               In October, Court referrals worked 752 (94 work days). Through October (calendar year 2016), court referrals
               worked 7,836 hours (979 work days).
