Citywide Tree Inventory

               The Maintenance & Operations and Technology Services Divisions recently completed a computerized city-
               owned tree Inventory.  With the assistance of a Maintenance & Operations intern and a GPS-enabled tablet
               with a custom application, Technology Services’ GIS section collected many different features of these
               beautiful and important assets, including the common name of the tree, its height and diameter, as well as a
               photo. This project resulted in the collection of over 12,000 tree records within the past year.
























               Development Impact Fees (DIF) & Transportation Uniform Mitigation Fees (TUMF)
               Projects Mapped Online

               The Land Development Division recently requested GIS assistance to map the DIF and TUMF projects and
               display them in the GIS Map Viewer.  GIS mapped the projects and provide links to access related documents
               from the Online Map Viewer.  The GIS section geographically represented the following areas of the
               DIF/TUMF project:  DIF street segments, DIF traffic signals, DIF signal upgrades, and the TUMF streets that
               were included in the Nexus Study.
