A Swap Zone set up in the Police Department parking lot provides residents with another option to buy and sell items. With distinct signage and a Citywide Camera recording transactions, Moreno Valley’s Swap Zone provides an alternative to meeting a stranger at a private residence or unfamiliar location. As the number of online person-to-person sales has grown along with the use of websites like Craigslist and LetGo, local communities have seen an increase in related crime including assaults, robberies, and other thefts. The Final Environmental Impact Report (PEN16-0002) for the proposed Moreno Valley Logistics Center is complete and available for public review on the City's website and in person at City Hall or the Moreno Valley Public Library. The project site is located in the southern portion of the City, south of Krameria Avenue, north of Cardinal Avenue, east of Heacock Street and the March Air Reserve Base, and west of Indian Street. Caltran LogoState Route 60 Pavement Replacement Project
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) continues work on the State Route 60 (SR-60) pavement replacement project between the 60/215 Interchange and Gilman Springs Road and between Jack Rabbit Trail and the 60/10 Interchange.
