Residential and Commercial Electronic Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS)
Effective September 30, 2016, the City of Moreno Valley has implemented an expedited EVCS permitting process for residential and commercial properties in compliance with Assembly Bill 1236 as signed by Governor Brown in 2015 (Ordinance No. 913). View all related forms.
2016 California Building Code
On January 1, 2017, the 2016 California Building Code became effective for all new permit applications as prescribed within adopted Ordinance 915. Please see our Builder's Advisory for more information.
Smoke Shop Code Amendment
On November 1, 2016, the City Council approved a Municipal Code Amendment regulating smoke shop uses citywide. On November 15, 2016, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 917 containing the new regulations for smoke shop uses. All newly established smoke shop regulations officially became law on December 15, 2016.
