Be an Adoption Ambassador
Through the ASPCA Adoption Ambassadors program, those who foster animals become adoption counselors on behalf of their local shelter. Ambassadors take home adoptable dogs or cats and find them safe, loving homes through word of mouth, social media, emails to friends and family, or by hitting the streets with their foster pets.
California Pet Lover License Plates
Over 1 million dogs and cats enter California’s shelters each year, and over half are euthanized simply because there aren’t enough homes. The California Pet Lover’s License Plate provides a large-scale, permanent funding source for spay and neuter programs — proven to be the best way to reduce the number of unwanted pets.
