City of Moreno Valley Wins Excellence in Information Technology Award for 20th Consecutive Year

For a record 20th year in a row, the City of Moreno Valley has received the Excellence in Information Technology Award from the Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC).
The award, given to the City on October 18, honors municipalities that meet strict information technology standards in the public sector. The City of Moreno Valley has received this award more than any other city or public entity in California.
“Moreno Valley has a proud tradition of innovation across all sectors, including Information Technology,” said Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez, Mayor of Moreno Valley. “With our record 20th MISAC award in a row, Moreno Valley has further demonstrated that we provide cutting-edge technology services to our residents. I congratulate Moreno Valley’s IT team for this incredible honor.”
A nonprofit with over 1,000 members from cities, towns, and other local government agencies, MISAC promotes more effective and efficient municipal government through increased cooperation, collaboration, education, and sharing of information technology best practices. Moreno Valley’s award entry underwent a rigorous peer-review process before being selected for this award.

La ciudad de Moreno Valley gana el premio de excelencia en tecnologías de informacion por vigésimo año consecutivo
Por vigésimo año consecutivo, la Ciudad de Moreno Valley recibió el premio de excelencia en tecnologías de información de la Asociación Municipal de Sistemas de Información de California (Municipal Information Association of California – MISAC).
El premio, entregado a la Ciudad el 18 de octubre, honra a los municipios que cumplen con estándares estrictos de tecnología de información en el sector público. La Ciudad de Moreno Valley ha recibido este premio más que cualquier otra ciudad o entidad pública en California.
“Moreno Valley tiene una tradición orgullosa de innovación en todos los sectores, incluyendo la tecnología de información,” dijo el Dr. Yxstian Gutiérrez, alcalde de Moreno Valley. “Con nuestro vigésimo premio consecutivo de MISAC, Moreno Valley ha demostrado aún más que brindamos los servicios mejores de tecnología de información para nuestros residentes.
