Mayor Gutierrez to Host Live Coronavirus Crisis Q&A
To Review Moreno Valley's Response and Discuss Efforts to Begin Reopening Local Economy

Since even before the statewide stay-at-home order, Moreno Valley Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez has been communicating daily with residents about the coronavirus crisis, using all the tools available to him, sending dozens of videos, news releases, newsletters, phone and text messages and media statements to try to keep residents informed and encouraged. On Wednesday, May 6, residents are invited to ask the Mayor their own questions about the crisis when he hosts a live hour-long special Q&A session via Zoom.
"Local government is the closest to the people it serves, in large part because there are almost no barriers between residents and the people we elect to represent us," explained Mayor Gutierrez. "Even during this unprecedented time, we've continued to communicate regularly."
The live Q&A session is set for Wednesday, May 6, from 4 - 5 p.m. To attend, before 4 p.m. go to www.zoom.us and click Join a Meeting and enter the Meeting ID: 972-0282-0909. Participants are asked to enter an email address when they join the meeting so that the Mayor can answer their question afterward if there’s not enough time to answer it during the meeting.
