MVTV-3 picks up award for 9/11 Video

MVTV-3's video commemorating the events of September 11, 2001, "9/11: Moreno Valley Reflects," received the Award of Excellence at the City-County Communications and Marketing Association's (3CMA) awards dinner on Thursday, September 4, 2003. The judges described the video as a "simple, but emotionally moving piece on community reflections of 9/11. Interviews are skillfully edited without narration."

Angela Rushen, Assistant to the City Manager/Media and Communications, said, "We're grateful to the people who were interviewed for this video. Their reflections on the events of that day, along with the outstanding production work by the MVTV-3 staff, made this piece a stand out," she said.

MVTV-3's Dawn Morgan, Louis Rocha and Jarrod Adams produced the video. The award for "9/11: Moreno Valley Reflects," is MVTV-3's third national award, second 3CMA award, and brings MVTV-3's total award count to 9.
