City Public Works Department wins Project of the Year Award

On June 5, 2003, the Inland Empire Branch of the American Public Works Association (APWA) selected the City of Moreno Valley as the winner of the 2002 Project of the Year Award. The project being recognized is the Myers Avenue Street Improvements project. This project is one of the very few in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties selected for such recognition. The President of the APWA Inland Empire Branch said this project truly reflects the successful combination of engineering, planning, management, construction and public benefits.

APWA is an organization of professional association of individuals, public agencies, and private sector companies dedicated to providing high quality public works projects and services in the Inland Empire area and throughout North America.
