Project Pantry
Project Pantry is an emergency assistance program created to help residents experiencing food insecurity during the ongoing federal government shutdown, which has temporarily disrupted SNAP benefits for millions of Americans.
About
The program provides direct assistance to local food pantries and food distribution partners, increasing their capacity to serve residents in need. The Moreno Valley City Council established this program on November 4, 2025, and funding comes from the Moreno Valley Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established to support programs and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for Moreno Valley residents.
